Our 2008 racing is regulated as follows:

All fleets will have scoring divided into a Spring Season (seven possible races Apr 19 to Jul 12) and a Fall Season (seven possible races, Jul 26 to Oct 25).  The overall awards will be based on the total of the finishing position in each season.

Each Season will allow two throwout races if five races are completed, or one throwout if at least three races are completed.

Ocean Races are raced underwith PHRF ratings, River Races are scored under the Portsmouth Yardstick and R/C racing is one-design racing, with any racer winning four  or more races being penalized 30 seconds at the start and racers winning two or more races being penalized 15 seconds at the start.  These handicaps are permanent and caryy over seasons and years.
