Chipstead scoring system 
Here's an alternative scoring system (still using Portsmouth ratings) that gives those that miss a race or two the chance to catch up if they do well. It eliminates the problem with changes in the fleet size as the season progresses, and rewards victories in larger fleets more than smaller. The next fleet captain gets to decide, but it looks good to me.

I think this looks like an excellent system. Does the best job I've seen for accounting for the variables of fleet size, heavy weather and participation.. I think we should take a good look at adopting for all fleets.
