Chetco Cove Yacht Club is again offering their free sailing class to the public, starting Feb. 4th. A flyer and class syllabus will be posted shortly.

First Sailiing Class
Feb 4th
10am to 12pm
Members are encouraged to come to the class, especially towards the end where there will no doubt be some time for conversation with the students.
Board & General Meetings and Potluck
Recap
The Board held a Strategic Planning session to brainstorm the 2012 season. The meeting overlapped into the General Meeting where it was encouraged that members should feel free to suggest ways to expand the use of the Clubhouse beyond our modest bi-monthly weekends. Any Board members is a good sounding board for your ideas!
The Potluck saw about 25 people gather for some especially good food, all in large quantities. There was even some leftovers!

Jan 13th Recap
Commodore Pat Nied has resigned for personal reasons. The remainder of the Board accepted his request and went on to appoint Jim Relaford as the replacement Commodore for 2012. Pat promises to stay as involved in the Club as possible and received warms thanks for his service.
